About this role; responsibilities & ownership

You will oversee the following:

1. Platform Operations (Endowus web and mobile app)

  • Triage and handle platform issues, before working with the appropriate teams (Engineering, Client experience, Investment Office) on a swift resolution.
  • Optimise the client onboarding process to ensure that all of the necessary information required is provided for and continuously aligned with our broker partners. 

2. Compliance Operations

  • Ensure that our daily operations are compliant with regulatory requirements. 
  • Serve as a point of escalation for any compliance-related issues that cuts across platform, trade and cash operations.

3. Trade Operations

  • Sending and receiving of trades and monies to allow the execution of trades in a timely manner. 
  • Coordinate regular reconciliation of trades settlement and discrepancies.

4. Trade Operations

  • Processing all deposits and withdrawals in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate regular reconciliation of cash balance in trust.

In addition:

  1. Identify internal areas and processes which we can streamline and improve on, and work with the multiple stakeholders that includes product, investment office, customer experience, data, engineering teams to execute accordingly.
  2. Manage our relationships with external partners and vendors (eg. data providers, brokerages etc) and work with them to establish processes which would enable our platform to work smoothly and seamlessly

Requirements & qualifications

  • Great communication skills and attitude. You will interact with many clients and partners each day via different channels (phone, email, chat). 
  • Organised, attention to detail and adaptable. You will face new challenges on a daily basis, and we want to hire someone who has the intellect and drive to work through and adapt to changes. 
  • Team player is key. We are a small but growing team, and we believe in building an environment that fosters a sense of belonging for all of our employees. 
  • Passionate and excited about wanting to build an innovative financial services company. 
  • Experience working in financial services and/or startups, as well as an engineering or technical background is a plus.
