About this role; responsibilities & ownership
- Build, shape and grow the Endowus Hong Kong business in-line with our mission and values.
- Client-centric: You will be on the front lines, communicating with prospective and current clients, and delivery the best client experience via multiple channels including phone, email, Zoom.
- Play a key role in onboarding new clients, and helping them with any questions or issues that may arise and take ownership of growing Endowus’ AUA (assets under advice).
- Wealth advisory: Advise clients on their investment needs in a holistic manner and guide them through our investment solutions, and build long-term client relationships.
- Corporate B2B2C business development initiatives including reaching out to corporates for partnerships and organising financial educational sessions.
- Champion financial literacy initiatives and host sessions in-person or digitally.
- Share the voice of the client to the broader company, offering insights to all areas of the business to help build a better product and experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams, e.g. Product Operations and Investment Office, to improve the client experience and new product/investment initiatives.
How to know if you're a good fit for this role; requirements & qualifications
- Bachelor degree with 5+ years' relevant experience in wealth management, private banking, financial advisory or other financial institutions
- Excellent interpersonal and business development skills, ability to build and foster a strong network of relationships
- Demonstrated interest in and knowledge in financial, economic and global capital markets and strong technical knowledge in financial planning/wealth management, investment products, and markets
- Client focused with solid client management skills and effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Organized, attention to detail and adaptable with high level of integrity and risk awareness
- Understanding of client related backend processes including onboarding, trade execution and post trade services
- Team player and ability to work with different business functions across the firm
- Understanding of the Endowus mission and values, passionate and excited about making a change in the industry and building an innovative financial services company
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- SFC Type 1 & 4 licensed representative / passed “SFC LE Paper 1”
- CFP, CFA or equivalent qualifications will be an advantage
- Less experienced candidates will be considered for Senior Associate role
