Since inception in February 2022, the Fund has demonstrated performance that tracks closely to its parent strategy, the Franklin Technology Fund.
Employs a primarily bottom-up analysis to identify a concentrated number of long-term, high-conviction leaders and innovators across more than 20 sectors and themes.The investment list is vetted by the Amanie Supervisory Board to ensure that the companies chosen are Shariah-compliant. If evaluated as haram, the company would be removed from the eligible list and the Fund would not be able to invest in it.Criteria for exclusion include poor debt ratio, or the company’s involvement in haram business activities such as production/sales of alcohol, tobacco, gambling, weapons, pork, adult entertainment, and interest-bearing financial services.
