We will hear from Gregory Van at Endowus, Brandon Lin at SAIF/SPQ Asia Capital and Xiaolin Zheng at CE Innovation Capital who will share their experience in allocating and diversifying their personal investment portfolios.

About the Speakers
Gregory Van, CEO, Endowus
Greg is passionate about making investing accessible and at the lowest achievable cost for all investors. As CEO, he is responsible for driving the company’s growth and strategic execution. He started his career in investment banking at UBS, advising and fundraising for private equity and venture capital firms in the Asia Pacific region. Greg then joined Grab in its early days and was part of the pioneer team that launched the firm’s digital payments services across Southeast Asia.
Greg was recently awarded the CEO of the Year for the Singapore market at Asia Asset Management’s Best of the Best Awards 2022. He holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Benny Lee, Head of Private Equity Business Development, Greater China, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Benny joined AWS in 2020 and leads Private Equity Business Development for AWS Greater China. In this role, Benny partners with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies on value creation initiatives, enabling digital transformation, cloud migration and tech enabled, innovative new business models. Prior to AWS, Benny has 10 years of private equity investment and investment banking experiences, across AlpInvest (The Carlyle Group), Barclays Investment Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.
Brandon Lin, Chief Investment Officer/General Partner, SPQ Asia Capital/SAIF Partners
Brandon Lin is the Founder, President and Chief Investment Officer of SPQ Asia Capital (affiliated with SAIF) and General Partner of SAIF Partners Group, one of the largest independent private equity groups in Asia, which he joined in 2001 as part of the founding team. He has been at SAIF/SPQ in Hong Kong and Beijing for 20+ years where he has a strong track record for sourcing, evaluating, executing, managing and exiting numerous profitable public and private equity investments. During this time, he also served as Board director of about a dozen public and private companies invested in by SAIF.
Before joining SAIF/SPQ, Brandon was a Vice President in Investment Banking at Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group (led by Frank Quattrone) and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (acquired by CSFB) in New York, Boston and Hong Kong from 1997 to 2001. He was also an Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities Law at Sullivan & Cromwell in Hong Kong and Los Angeles from 1994 to 1996.
Brandon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Distinction from Stanford University in 1991 (elected to Phi Beta Kappa in junior year) and Juris Doctorate cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1994.
Brandon is a Member of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Knowledge Transfer Committee of the Council, the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Save the Children Hong Kong and an Advisor at Our Hong Kong Foundation. Brandon was born in Taipei and grew up in the US.
Xiaolin Zheng, Partner, CE Innovation Capital
Xiaolin is a Partner in CE Innovation Capital, an Asian Growth Capital Fund with focus on Fintech, Enterprise Tech and Consumer Platforms.
Before joining CEIC, Xiaolin was a director in JD’s Strategic Investment team, and was responsible for developing and implementing the group strategy of JD via investments and M&A, focusing on investment opportunities in consumer, technology and logistics sectors.
Prior to JD, Xiaolin co-founded and held the title of Head of Business Development at YouJieYouHuan, a China fintech start up company. Xiaolin started her career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch, and was with Deutsche Bank’s Technology, Media, and Telecommunications team between 2011-2014. She was born and raised in China and received a full scholarship to study in Singapore and the US, graduating with a First-Honor Bachelor Degree (Major in Quantitative Finance) from the National University of Singapore.
