About this event
Private equity, a market that is close to US$5 trillion in size, has historically been accessible only by institutional investors and ultra high net worth individuals. However, recently there is increasing interest and channels for individuals to gain access to this asset class.
Endowus warmly invites you to join us for an exclusive in-person event, on 15 November 2023 (Wed) at 6-8pm, where EQT, the third largest private equity firm worldwide, will share insights into the private equity industry and the characteristics and potential of this asset class, especially under the recent backdrop of volatile public markets and rising interest rates.
We are pleased to have EQT’s global leadership joining us at the event, including Suzanne Donohoe, Chief Commercial Officer and Global Head of EQT-Ext (CXO), and Peter Beske Nielsen, Partner and Global Head of Private Wealth Client Relations & Capital Raising. The session will be hosted by Hugh Chung, Chief Investment Advisory Officer at Endowus.

Speaker Bios
Suzanne Donohoe, Chief Commercial Officer and Global Head of EQT-Ext (CXO)
Suzanne joined EQT in 2023 as Chief Commercial Officer and Global Head of EQT-Ext (CXO). In addition to Capital Raising & Client Relations, the new Platform “EQT-Ext” includes the firm’s Sustainability, Business Development, and Communications functions.
Before joining EQT, Suzanne was a Partner at KKR & Co from 2009-2022. In that capacity, she founded and led the Global Client & Partner Group for over eleven years and then served as the firm’s Global Head of Strategic Growth. Suzanne’s experience prior to KKR included an extensive career at Goldman Sachs where she served from 1992-2009. During this period, she worked in both the Investment Banking and Investment Management Divisions and worked in both New York and in London. She became a Partner in 2000.
Further, Suzanne has been involved in various philanthropic projects, including serving as Board Member for the Nature Conservancy - New York State Chapter and also serving on the Board of Fertile Hope. Currently, her main charitable focus is serving Georgetown University as the Vice Chair of its Board of Directors.
Suzanne has a B.A. in Government magna cum laude from Georgetown University. M.B.A. from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
Suzanne is a member of the EQT Executive Committee and board member of EQT Partners Inc.
Peter Beske Nielsen, Partner and Global Head of Private Wealth Client Relations & Capital Raising
Peter Beske Nielsen joined EQT Partners in Copenhagen in January 2021 and is a Partner in the Client Relations & Capital Raising Team.
Peter holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Copenhagen and a MBA degree from the University of Bath.
Prior to joining EQT Partners, Peter was from 2006 to 2021 a Managing Director at BlackRock working in a number of roles, most recently as EMEA Head of the Strategic Partner Program and Global Head of Alternatives distribution.
In the 15 years at BlackRock he worked in the New York, London and Copenhagen offices.
From 2000 to 2004 Peter was a M&A Lawyer at Bech Bruun Law Firm in Copenhagen.
Hugh, Chung, Chief Investment Advisory Officer, Endowus
Hugh Chung is the Chief Investment Advisory Officer at Endowus, Asia’s leading digital wealth platform.
In his current role, Hugh leads the integration of investment functions and strategies across the Endowus Group, comprising the Endowus digital platform, Endowus Private Wealth, and Carret Private. He oversees the centralised Investment Office, which provides group strategic direction on the expert curation and management of all investment solutions across public and private markets, for individual and institutional investors in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Hugh has more than 20 years of experience in the asset management and financial advisory space in Asia. In his previous role as the Chief Investment Officer for a single family office, he was responsible for strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction and fund selection across all regions and asset classes. Hugh was also previously Managing Director at Kadensa Capital and Azentus Capital as the founding member and senior investor of two of the most successful hedge fund launches in Asia. Before this, Hugh had oversight of Korea equity distribution at J.P. Morgan, and began his career at Goldman Sachs and Samsung Securities.
