About the Event
For three decades, investors have been trained to think that the fixed income market is a safer place to hide in times of volatilities. However, as markets grapple with the US Fed’s most aggressive rate hike cycle in four decades, the bond markets may give us an unprecedented third year of losses. Can we still see the market turn around this year? Have interest rates peaked and where is it headed going forward? Is this finally a good time to get back into fixed income?
Endowus invites you to join an exclusive in-person discussion, on 2 November 2023 (Thur) from 6-8pm. Endowus Chairman and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Samuel Rhee will be hosting experts from fixed income heavyweights, including public market powerhouses Blackrock, PIMCO, as well as leading private credit manager Ares, for a fireside chat.
We will discuss how investors can navigate and assess the impact of “higher for longer” interest rates. Key topics of discussion include the macro and Fed policy outlook, where interest rates are headed and most importantly the implications to investors’ portfolios.
