About the Event

Multi-Strategy Hedge Funds: Unveiling the Mystery

Hedge funds have been an asset class available only for institutional investors or ultra high net worth individuals with direct access to the funds. It is an asset class that delivers returns less correlated to the markets and with lower volatility. While there are many types of hedge funds, multi-strategy hedge funds have emerged as one of the most sought after investment vehicles in recent years, with the asset class doubling their assets since 2011 to close to US$900 billion.

The allure of multi-strategy hedge funds is their goal to deliver “absolute returns” over any market cycle with their strict risk management and voracious acquisition of trading talent. Well-known asset managers that implement these strategies include Millennium, Point72, Balyasny, Brevan Howard, Eisler, Hudson Bay, LMR, and Schonfeld.

Endowus warmly invites you to join us for an exclusive in-person event, on 24 January 2024 (Wed) at 6-8pm, to learn more about hedge funds and their different strategies. Learn how these managers can deliver “absolute returns” even at times of market volatility and deliver uncorrelated returns to help investors diversify and increase the resilience of their portfolios.

We are pleased to have industry experts Chris Antonelli, Co-head of Asia, Schonfeld and Mandy Lau, Head of Capital Introduction APAC, UBS, joining us at the event. The session will be hosted by Hugh Chung, Chief Investment Advisory Officer at Endowus.
