Update to the Pre-Contractual Disclosures (PCDs): BlackRock updated its “Good Governance” and “Do No Significant Harm” methodologies for SFDR Article 8 and 9 funds. The new governance approach excludes issuers involved in severe controversies, adopting a stricter standard. The DNSH revision strengthens PAI assessments by adding fossil fuel exclusions, aligning with EU benchmarks, and linking specific controversies to each PAI. Overall, the changes introduce a more rigorous and detailed framework without affecting fund management.
