We refer to the notification letter from E FUND MGMT (HONG KONG)CO LTD (HK) with the following announcement(s).

1. CHANGE IN INVESTMENT POLICY.


Effective from 06/08/2024, the investment policy of the below fund/s will be amended:

• HK0000467347 E FUND (HK) SHORT-DURATION BOND "I" (HKD) ACC

MATERIAL & CLARIFICATION: The Manager has adopted the ancillary investment strategy of investing up to 30% of the NAV in collateralised and/or securities products, including without limitation, asset backed securities, mortgage backed securities and asset backed commercial papers issued or guaranteed by governments, governments agencies or supranational bodies or companies in both developed and emerging markets globally. In addition, the treatment of investments in ETFs will change from "collective investment schemes" to "listed securities".

2. GENERAL CHANGES.


Effective from 18/04/2024, the following fund/s will be affected by general changes explained in detail in the official notice.

• HK0000464419 E FUND (HK) HONG KONG DOLLAR MONEY MARKET "I" (HKD) ACC
• HK0000467347 E FUND (HK) SHORT-DURATION BOND "I" (HKD) ACC
• HK0000365541 E FUND (HK) US DOLLAR MONEY MARKET "I" (USD) ACC

Please note than an additional director of the Manager was appointed with effect from 18 April 2024. Please refer to the updated Explanatory Memorandum for further details.

3. CHANGE IN INVESTMENT POLICY.


Effective from 06/08/2024, the investment policy of the below fund/s will be amended:

HK0000464419 E FUND (HK) HONG KONG DOLLAR MONEY MARKET "I" (HKD) ACC
HK0000365541 E FUND (HK) US DOLLAR MONEY MARKET "I" (USD) ACC

CLARIFICATION: The treatment of investments in ETFs will change from "collective investment schemes" to "listed securities". The reason for this change is to align the treatment of ETFs with other listed securities.
