Notice to Shareholders from PRINCIPAL GLOBAL INV (EUROPE) LTD (IE) - 28/5/2026
We refer to the notification letter from PRINCIPAL GLOBAL INV (EUROPE) LTD (IE) with the following announcement(s).
1. CHANGES TO PROSPECTUS.
Effective from 09/06/2026, there will be changes to the prospectus of the following funds:
- IE00BYM2LQ48 PGIF PREFERRED SECURITIES "D2" (USD) INC
- IE00BFNQRS61 PGIF PREFERRED SECURTIES "D2" (HKD) INC
In order to address new regulatory requirements on liquidity management tools (LMTs) under Directive (EU) 2024/927, it is proposed to amend the Prospectus and implement a Supplemental Trust Deed. The Manager will be required to select and disclose at least two LMTs from a prescribed list. The “Restrictions on Redemptions” section has been updated to allow extension of the redemption notice period, and the “Suspension of Redemption of Units” section has been renamed “Suspension of Dealings” and revised so that suspensions of subscriptions, redemptions and repurchases occur simultaneously in line with LMT requirements.
2. GENERAL CHANGES.
Effective from 09/06/2026, the following fund/s will be affected by general changes explained in detail in the official notice.

- IE00BFNQRS61 PGIF PREFERRED SECURTIES "D2" (HKD) INC
Other General Updates to the Prospectus and these Supplements. Updates to the “Exclusions Policy” section of the Prospectus in order to reflect the latest version of the exclusions policy adopted by the Manager;The “Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing Measures” section has been updated to provide that the Manager and the Administrator will comply with applicable economic and trade sanctions regulations
