About the speakers
Kevin Cole, PH. D., Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer, Campbell & Company
Dr. Cole joined Campbell as a quantitative researcher in October 2003 and assumed the combined role of Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer (CEO, CIO) in January of 2022. Dr. Cole has served as Chief Investment Officer since July 2017. In his role as CEO, CIO, he is responsible for leading the firm’s overall strategic direction while also establishing and managing the firm's investment research agenda. As co-chair of the firm's Investment Committee, he is also responsible for daily risk and portfolio oversight. As of November 2024 Dr. Cole was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Campbell & Company, LLC. Prior to joining Campbell, Kevin held researcher roles at Mellon Capital Management, American Century Investments, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Kevin received a Ph.D. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the University of California at Berkeley and a B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University. His research has been published in The Journal of Fixed Income and Financial Analysts Journal.
Joseph Kelly, Managing Director, Campbell & Company
Mr. Kelly is a Partner and a Member of the Board of Directors of the controlling entity Campbell & Company, LLC. As the Global Head of Institutional Solutions, Mr. Kelly manages the team responsible for Institutional partnerships and Consultant Relations. Mr. Kelly has 30 years of experience across various roles in derivatives trading and alternatives asset management, including: Head of Alternatives for Russell Investments’ Americas Institutional business, Founder and EVP of fintech start-up iOptions Group, LLC, and Senior Derivatives Trader managing the CME profit center for the Hull Group (HF volatility firm acquired by Goldman Sachs in 1998). Mr. Kelly holds a B.A in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
Francis Wong, Managing Director, UBP Asset Management Asia
Francis Wong is the Managing Director of UBP Asset Management Asia. He is responsible for providing Institutional Clients, Private Banks and Family Offices, with Investment Solutions offered by UBP Asset Management.
Francis has over 25 years of experience where he held various roles with JP Morgan Asset Management and Credit Suisse Private Bank. Prior to UBP Asset Management, Francis has spent 8 years with GAM Asset Management as Head of Intermediary Sales.
Francis is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Master’s Degree from Imperial College London.
Jasmine Chan, Investment Advisory Director, Endowus
Jasmine began her career in investment banking at Barclays Capital in Hong Kong. She spent over eight years there, advising and structuring equity derivatives and funds for clients across North Asia. Jasmine then moved to Credit Suisse, where she was part of the pioneer team of a joint venture between the private bank and investment bank that originated bespoke cross-asset investment solutions for ultra-high-net-worth investors across Asia Pacific and the rest of the world. She also worked as an investment consultant, where she provided investment advice to private banking clients in the Greater China market.
Today, Jasmine leverages her unique expertise at the intersection of investment banking and private banking to empower Endowus clients to achieve their important wealth goals. Jasmine holds a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford.
