Assets under management (AUM) of alternatives is expected to double to more than US$20 trillion by 2030.

About the speakers
Edwin Chan CPA (Aust.) Head of Client Solutions APAC of iCapital, Member of Financial Services Committee – Greater China of CPA Australia
Edwin Chan joined iCapital in 2021 to start their Asia business as Head of Client Solutions APAC. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including a strong track record in private markets in the Asia Pacific region.
Before joining iCapital, Edwin successfully founded and spent a decade building the Probitas Partners business in Asia. He has worked with many private market firms across different alternative investment strategies as well as with institutional and family office investors in the Asia Pacific region. Previously, Edwin worked with AIG Global Investments, Citi, and HSBC based out of Hong Kong in various regional roles covering clients across the broad Asian geography. He holds an MBA and a BA from the University of South Australia.
Jasmine Chan, Investment Advisory Director of Endowus
Jasmine Chan is the Investment Advisory Director of Endowus, and joined the firm in December 2024.
Jasmine began her career in investment banking at Barclays Capital in Hong Kong. She spent over eight years there, advising and structuring equity derivatives and funds for clients across North Asia. Jasmine then moved to Credit Suisse, where she was part of the pioneer team of a joint venture between the private bank and investment bank that originated bespoke cross-asset investment solutions for ultra-high-net-worth investors across Asia Pacific and the rest of the world. She also worked as an investment consultant, where she provided investment advice to private banking clients in the Greater China market.
Today, Jasmine leverages her unique expertise at the intersection of investment banking and private banking to empower Endowus clients to achieve their important wealth goals. Jasmine holds a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford.
Edwin Ho, CAIA, CFA, Senior Client Advisor of Endowus
Edwin is a Senior Client Advisor at Endowus. Prior to joining Endowus, he was a Fixed Income Product Specialist in DWS Group (formerly Deutsche Asset Management), and Investment Counsellor in HSBC Private Bank where he provided investment advisory services to high-net-worth clients.
He graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Economics and Finance. He is also a CAIA and CFA charterholder.
Cliff Ip FCPA (Aust.) Managing Director and CEO of Wings Securities Limited, Divisional President 2024 – Greater China and Chair of Financial Services Committee – Greater China of CPA Australia
Cliff has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and auditing. He is currently the Managing Director and CEO of Wings Securities Limited, and was previously the Executive Director of the Investment Banking Division of JPMorgan Hong Kong. Prior to that, Cliff also worked at Credit Suisse Hong Kong Investment Banking Division, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen Hong Kong Assurance Division. He has accumulated profound experiences across HK IPOs, pre-IPOs, cross-border M&As, share placements, convertible bonds and bond issuances.
