Endowus warmly invites you to an exclusive in-person luncheon with Oaktree Capital Management, one of the world's leading credit investors, overseeing a global credit platform with more than US$223 billion in assets, on Tuesday, 6 October 2026 at 12:30 PM HKT.
The session will be moderated by Ludovic de Pampelonne, Senior Investment Lead at Endowus, and we are pleased to have Wayne Dahl, Managing Director and Co-Portfolio Manager at Oaktree Capital Management, and Rex Tai, Vice President at Brookfield Private Wealth as our guest speakers.
Over lunch, we will aim to discuss some of the latest developments within the fixed income space, and also explore Oaktree's approach to global credit investing,particularly in relation to Oaktree’s flagship Global Credit strategy.
This comes at a timely moment, following the launch of Oaktree Global Credit Fund Select (OGC) — the daily liquid UCITS version of the Oaktree Global Credit Fund SICAV fund currently available on Endowus. We will also take the opportunity to provide a quick update on the Oaktree Strategic Credit Fund, Oaktree’s evergreen private credit solution.

About the speakers
Rex Tai, Vice President, Brookfield Private Wealth
Mr. Rex Tai is currently a Vice President at Brookfield Private Wealth, responsible for private wealth coverage across Greater China, with a focus on private banks, wealth platforms, and multi-family offices. Prior to joining Brookfield Private Wealth, Mr. Tai was a Sales Manager at Robeco, covering wholesale fund distribution and business development in Hong Kong and offshore China. Earlier, he served as an Associate Director at China Universal Asset Management and held roles at Bank of China (HK) Asset Management and Noah Holdings, with experience spanning distribution, fundraising, and product development.
Mr. Tai holds a Doctor of Business Administration and a Master of Finance from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as well as a Master of Science in Real Estate from The University of Hong Kong.
Wayne Dahl, Managing Director and Co-Portfolio Manager, Oaktree
Mr. Dahl serves as a co-portfolio manager of our Global Credit and Global Credit Investment Grade strategies. He is also a founding member of the Global Credit Investment Committee. Mr. Dahl joined Oaktree in 2016 from Prosiris Capital Management in New York, where he was the Chief Risk Officer. Prior thereto, Mr. Dahl was Head of Risk Management for Canyon Capital Advisors in Los Angeles for nine years where he developed, implemented and managed the firm’s risk measurement and reporting systems across all investment strategies. Mr. Dahl began his career at Rumson Capital in quantitative research and development focused on the convertible arbitrage strategy. He received his B.A. degree in economics with a minor in mathematics from Brigham Young University and his Master of Science in Mathematics in Finance degree from New York University’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Science.
Ludovic de Pampelonne, Senior Investment Lead, Endowus
Ludovic de Pampelonne is a Senior Investment Lead at Endowus. With a background that bridges quantitative research, data science, and investment, Ludovic plays a key role in shaping investment solutions at the Endowus Investment Office.
Prior to joining Endowus, Ludovic served as a Quantitative Researcher at AXA Investment Managers Chorus and as a Data Scientist.
Ludovic holds degrees from École Polytechnique and MIT Sloan School of Management. He also earned his MBA from the National University of Singapore.
