About the Speakers
Toby Chan, Head of Client Group, Hong Kong & Greater China, Capital Group
Toby Chan is head of the Hong Kong & Greater China Client Group at Capital Group. She has 30 years of industry experience and has been with Capital Group for four years. Prior to joining Capital, Toby held a variety of roles in HSBC Bank including head of investments for Asia and global head of Jade & Top Tier Proposition. Before that, she was a senior intermediary business manager at Fidelity International. She holds a bachelor's degree in advertising from the University of Florida. Toby is based in Hong Kong.
Michelle Ng, Capital Learning Consultant, Capital Group
Michelle Ng is a capital learning consultant based in Hong Kong at Capital Group, the world's largest active fund manager with over US$2.8 trillion in assets under management.
She has 26 years of industry experience and joined Capital Group in 2025. Prior to joining Capital, Michelle worked as a portfolio advisor at Wellington Management. Before that, she was an asset allocation portfolio specialist at Manulife Investment Management. Prior to that, she led the Greater China investment advisory team at Mercer Investments.
Michelle holds a bachelor's degree in economics with a double major in actuarial studies and finance from Macquarie University.
Steffanie Yuen, Managing Director and Head of Hong Kong, Endowus
Steffanie Yuen is the Managing Director and Head of Hong Kong at Endowus, one of the largest independent wealth platforms in Asia with over US$10 billion in assets under advice.
Before joining Endowus, Steffanie was Managing Director at Value Partners, responsible for leading the Group's Direct Distribution, Marketing, Communications and Investor Relations functions, as well as other key strategic growth initiatives. Prior to Value Partners, she was the Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Director at Alibaba's fintech affiliate Ant Group, where she was responsible for driving strategic collaborations and partnerships with international financial institutions and Ant's overseas e-wallet partners, which together serve over 1.2 billion annual active users globally.
Steffanie started her career in the investment banking divisions of Barclays and Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong and holds a BS in Finance and Accounting degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
She was selected into the Financial Leaders Programme in 2023, organised by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and is currently a Board Director of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong.
