About the Event

Looking into 2024, how should investors navigate the equities markets? Global equities defied expectations and rose by double digits this year. Yet much of the returns were driven by the US market by a handful of tech stocks, while closer to home the Hang Seng and CSI 300 are both underperforming YTD.

As we look out to next year, should we expect a continued recovery and brighter times ahead? How are peaking interest rates, and the prospect of a US recession going to affect markets? Will China and Emerging Markets make a recovery finally? Will growth continue to outperform value? These are some of the questions we will answer and many more.

Endowus Chairman and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Samuel Rhee hosted a panel of experts from Abrdn, JP Morgan Asset Management and Schroders for a fireside chat on the outlook for equities in 2024.

Key topics of discussion include the macro outlook, whether tech stocks will continue their bull run, where China and HK equities are heading and most importantly the implications to investors’ portfolios.
