Emma advises Endowus on portfolio construction and risk management. She was formerly the head of the convertible securities team at Columbia Management Group based out of New York and lead-managed the Columbia Convertible Securities Fund, which won Lipper’s “Best Convertible Securities Fund in the U.S. over Ten Years”. Prior to joining Columbia Management, she was a Vice President at Putnam Investments in Boston, responsible for quantitative model validation and implementation for the enterprise-wide market risk system.

Emma is currently an independent Director of China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Ltd. and a Founding Partner of Oxleyan Capital, a single family office registered in Singapore. She serves as the current President of the Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) Southeast Asia Society, a not-for-profit organization founded in the US in 1994. A supporter of the arts, she is a recipient of the Distinguished Patron of the Arts Award by Singapore's National Arts Council. She has appeared in various public media about financial and art investments, including the New York Times, USA Today, Channel News Asia, The Straits Times, Morningstar, TheStreet.com, and ArtRepublik. Emma finished all PhD coursework in Finance at the Carroll School of Management, Boston College. She holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Notre Dame and a joint BA in International Journalism and Literature from the Shanghai International Studies University.
