Endowus launches Fixed-Rate Savings in Hong Kong, offering clients access to preferential time deposit rates with leading global banks

February 19, 2025

  • Endowus Hong Kong clients can now access highly competitive time deposit rates across tenors of 1, 3, 6 months, allowing them to earn more on their idle cash
  • Endowus is partnering a leading global bank to launch the service and plans to add more new partners in the future
  • Endowus’ Hong Kong saw more than 120% m-o-m growth in net new money in the first month of 2025

HONG KONG, 19 FEBRUARY 2025 – Asia’s leading wealth management platform Endowus launched Endowus Fixed-Rate Savings, offering clients competitive USD time deposit rates up to 4.03% p.a.1, with tenor options of 1, 3, and 6 months. Designed to provide market-competitive fixed returns, this new offering enables customers to maximize their savings with trusted global financial institutions.

Amidst global geopolitical and economic uncertainties, Endowus recognizes that some investors are seeking options with more stability, while rewarding at the same time to activate their idle cash, as they continue to evaluate other investment opportunities.

The minimum of the service starts at US$10,000 without the additional conditions or restrictions typically required for Hong Kong investors to access competitive time deposit rates. Rates are updated daily and Endowus will be waiving the 0.10% all-in fee of this service until the end of April.

Access to these competitive rates is achievable as Endowus leverages its extensive network with leading global financial institutions to secure favourable terms with established global banks. As Endowus expands its partnerships, clients will be able to identify the most suitable options for their idle cash and savings, all conveniently within the award-winning platform, without the hassle of shifting funds across different providers.

Steffanie Yuen, Managing Director, Head of Endowus Hong Kong said, “Our goal has always been to offer the most holistic options for clients — while Endowus advocates clients to take a long-term approach to investing, we understand some investors require more time to decide on an investment strategy that suits their investment goals and risk appetite. The new offering is a hassle-free solution for clients seeking more certainty for a fixed-rate return on their idle funds. We will continue listening to the needs of our clients to offer new and bespoke institutional-grade services and solutions.”

Strong growth of Endowus Hong Kong

Hong Kong is Endowus' first international market expansion outside of its home market in Singapore. 2024 was the first year of full-service launch for the firm, recording strong business growth of an eightfold increase in client assets year-on-year.

Key to the Company’s success is its offerings to local investors, including unique access to curated investment strategies from over 80+ global fund managers, the industry’s first 100% rebate on trailer commissions, and an evidence-based institutional-grade advisory approach.

Despite increasing global uncertainties, Endowus Hong Kong recorded more than 120% growth in net new money (NNM) m-o-m in the first month of 2025.

Endowus is continuing its expansion in the Hong Kong market, making key recent hires, including newly created roles for Janet Hung as Head of Client Advisory, Hong Kong, and Jasmine Chan as Investment Advisory Director.

Gregory Van, Co-founder and CEO of Endowus said, “The Hong Kong market is projected to lead global cross-bored wealth management by 2028. Amid rapid industry innovation, wealth management players such as ourselves must deliver modern digital experiences to meet changing customer expectations. Our early success and strong growth confirm a strong product-market fit for institutional-grade conflict-free wealth advice, which Endowus is bringing to the city for the first time, leveraging a hybrid fully digital and fully human approach.”
