1. CHANGES TO PROSPECTUS.

Effective from 30/05/2026, there will be changes to the prospectus of the following funds:

• HK0000272416 PRINCIPAL SUSTAINABLE ASIA EQUITY INCOME FUND "RET" (USD) INC

With effect from 30 May 2026, the definition of “Business Day” in the Explanatory Memorandum and the Trust Deed will be updated to reflect that dealing and valuation of the Sub‑Funds may take place on severe weather trading days, provided that the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong is open for normal trading. The change aligns the fund documentation with existing dealing practices and clarifies the operational arrangements applicable on such days. It does not affect investment features, risk profiles or fees.

2. GENERAL CHANGES.

Effective from 30/05/2026, the following fund/s will be affected by general changes explained in detail in the official notice.

• HK0000272416 PRINCIPAL SUSTAINABLE ASIA EQUITY INCOME FUND "RET" (USD) INC

Following the update to the definition of “Business Day”, clarifications are introduced regarding operational arrangements on days of severe weather, including potential unavailability of in‑person customer services and inspection of documents or registers when the Manager’s or Trustee’s offices are closed. In addition, the fund documentation is updated to streamline notification procedures, refresh administrative information, remove outdated disclosures and enhance risk and tax disclosures. These changes are operational and administrative in nature, do not affect investment features, risk profiles or fees, and have no adverse impact on unitholders.
