About this role; responsibilities & ownership

The Endowus Business Development and Partnerships team is a pivotal business unit that  maintains and leverage key corporate relationships to extend and amplify Endowus’ reach. We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Partnerships Lead with existing deep corporate relationships and financial services / fintech experience to determine our corporate client strategy, build and maintain strong corporate relationships, and to accelerate Endowus’ client growth through corporate channels.

1. Corporate Development & Investor Relations
  • Support relationships with existing and new investors, including fundraising and managing the investor due diligence process.
  • Own the investor financial model while working closely with the Finance team to ensure consistency of financial data presented.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform investor communications and strategic decisions.
  • Explore and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances to accelerate growth.
  • Prepare comprehensive decks and presentations for webinars, seminars, and investor meetings.

2. Strategic Planning & Implementation
  • Lead identification, prioritisation and delivery of new business opportunities, working with both internal and external stakeholders to create and launch new B2B and B2B2C offerings and opportunities that extend Endowus’ reach, target new segments and scale the business.
  • Develop and refine business models and strategic plans to support long-term growth objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities for the business.

3. Client Engagement and Partnerships:
  • Originate, manage and nurture key client relationships with partners at the senior executive as well as working group level across various verticals.
  • Offer Endowus investment services to a variety of corporates and non-profit organisations.
  • Engage with corporations, communities, associations, and investors to expand our client base.
  • Conceptualise and run Endowus-led events that drive the growth of initiatives and community engagement (e.g. CFOs, Charities and CHROs).
  • Build on existing initiatives such as the Fund Manager Staff Investment Program, Corporate Treasury Solution, and Corporate Wellness Program.
  • Maintain and track leads and follow-ups to ensure effective relationship management.

4. Collaborative Initiatives:
  • Collaborate with internal functional teams to drive business development-related initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with firm-wide objectives and strategies.

5. Team Development:
  • Lead or coach a team of Business Development Associates and Analysts.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, promoting shared learning and success.

Requirements & qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  2. 4-8  years of client-facing experience in Investment Banking or Management Consulting roles
  3. Proven ability to originate and build relationships with key clients
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  5. Excellent communication skills with experience in crafting and delivering tailored content
  6. Strong collaboration skills with internal teams
  7. Startup experience is a plus but not required
