- Symposium organised during ARTSG to explore the expansive landscape of private markets and its investment potential and the rising demand for allocation by Accredited & Professional Investors, and family offices in 2025.
- To meet this demand, Endowus will be launching new private credit solutions which tap into the strategies of leading private credit managers including Apollo, Ares, Blackstone, Blue Owl, Carlyle, HPS, Oaktree and others. Private credit solutions are generally expected to offer low correlation to traditional asset classes.
- This will be followed by a new multi-manager private equity solution as Endowus continues to lead the industry in new innovative solutions for private market and hedge fund access to achieve a holistic offering for its private wealth clients.
Singapore, 16 January 2025 - Endowus today held its annual Endowus Private Markets & Alternatives Symposium 2025, an industry-leading event at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre during ARTSG. The premier gathering is the largest private markets forum exploring opportunities in private market asset classes, featuring an exceptional lineup of world-class General Partners (GPs) from renowned firms such as Apollo, Blackstone, Brookfield Oaktree, EQT, Carlyle, Hamilton Lane, HarbourVest, HPS, iCapital, Partners Group, P/E Investments, Stonepeak and Quantedge.
Assets under management (AUM) in private markets reached US$13.1 trillion in 2023 and are projected to grow to US$30 trillion by 2030 - signalling rising interest among high-net-worth individuals and family offices. However, knowledge gaps, accessibility and public information remain key barriers to why investors do not readily explore the asset class, as uncovered by the Endowus Private Wealth Insights Report.
Endowus’ symposium was organised amid the increasing demand for private market asset classes, to help investors better understand its role in portfolio diversification and resilience. Attendees gained exclusive insights into hedge funds, private equity, private credit, private real estate and private infrastructure asset classes, hearing directly from GPs about the market potential and opportunities. Endowus has been collaborating with GPs to facilitate more convenient exposure to the private markets which have traditionally been available only to large institutions through the new evergreen, open-ended semi-liquid structures.
Sueann Yeo, Head of Asia Private Wealth at EQT, commented: “Growing our private wealth strategy is a key priority for our firm. Globally, we are at a stage where individual investors are increasingly seeking the same high-quality investment opportunities as institutional investors. Reflecting these dynamics, EQT is focused on creating opportunities for individual investors to access the same global investment platform that has supported institutional clients for over 30 years. This initiative underscores EQT’s commitment to broadening participation in private markets while maintaining its focus on sustainability, long-term value creation, and a disciplined investment approach rooted in its Nordic heritage.”
