The Opportunity
Lead our transformation into a data-driven organization. You'll build analytics capabilities from the ground up while executing hands-on analysis that drives investment decisions, enhances client experiences, and scales our business. This is strategic leadership meets technical execution in a fast-growing fintech environment.
What You'll Do
Drive Strategy
• Develop data analytics vision aligned with business objectives
• Champion data-driven decision making across all organizational levels
• Build and mentor high-performing analytics team as we scale
Execute Impact
• Perform complex analysis and modeling to extract actionable insights
• Create comprehensive dashboards and reporting solutions
• Optimize workflows and automate processes to improve efficiency
Enable Scale
• Partner across product, engineering, and business teams on data infrastructure
• Establish data governance frameworks and best practices
• Drive user behavior analysis and translate findings into business action
What You Bring
Technical Foundation
• Advanced SQL skills with distributed engines (AWS Athena, BigQuery, Spark SQL)
• Strong Python programming for data manipulation and analysis
• Statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and machine learning experience
• Data visualization and dashboard creation expertise
Platform Experience
• Business Intelligence tools (Looker, QuickSight, Metabase)
• Product analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics)
• Cloud data platforms (AWS preferred, or Databricks, Snowflake)
Leadership Background
• 4 - 5 years in data analytics with demonstrated leadership experience
• Fintech, financial services, or wealth management experience will be advantageous
• Track record implementing analytics solutions in fast-paced environments
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Startup Mindset
• Thrives in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments
• Takes ownership and drives projects to completion
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
• Natural curiosity and passion for continuous learning
