About this role
Reporting to the Group Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Brand Communications will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance Endowus’ brand presence, reputation, and engagement across strategic marketing channels in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will work closely with senior leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across communication touchpoints that aligns with our brand values and business objectives.
The ideal candidate will be an advocate for amplification, with a sharp communications acumen and keen nose on trends that matter, on the back of an established network to tap into — while considering the possibilities of marketing touchpoints to leverage and activate. The candidate wears many hats, an ideator, a trend jacker, a team player, who is able to rally support across the marketing functions and broader business units to produce statement communication pieces from infographics to reports, or ideate tentpole events to cement our brand leadership.
The role can be based out of Singapore or Hong Kong, with periodic business travel required depending on your country of residence.
The roles and responsibilities will include the following:
- Develop and implement a strategic brand communications plan that supports the company’s growth objectives and enhances brand equity, including but not limited to strategic media engagements, thought leadership opportunities and industry leadership
- Manage a collective of agencies across two geos, providing guidance, leadership, and feedback to hone our brand presence and penetration across SG and HK
- Own the custodianship in upkeeping the brand tone of voice, quality and distribution of high-quality content, and reputation across multiple channels, including social media, press releases, blogs, newsletters, and both internal and external communications.
- Manage media relations, including cultivating relationships with key journalists, handling media inquiries, and securing media coverage.
- Collaborate product and engineering, investment office and client experience teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
- Develop and manage the brand communications budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources with accountability to ROI.
- Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging communication technologies to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
- Ensure all communications comply with regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of accuracy and integrity.
- Engage and collaborate with teams across other functions; be capable of working effectively in groups, while ensuring all work is outstandingly creative and meets all brand objectives, while providing clear support and communication to relevant stakeholders on all current initiatives
- Employ analytical and data-driven decisions to support growth and OKR achievements through collaboration with broader teams
Requirements & qualifications
- Knowledge and keen interest in personal finance and investing topics will be a plus
- A bachelor’s degree, and more than 8 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in using design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro/Final Cut is a plus
- Experience in using Figma is a plus
- Strong design thinking, problem solving and communication skills
- Understanding of digital marketing channels including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube and others
- As projects may come from different teams (not just the Marketing Team) with competing deadlines, it is essential to be able to collaborate with and manage internal and external stakeholders; both from Singapore and within Hong Kong
- Organised, meticulous and self-driven, with good time management skills, a strong sense of ownership and great attention to detail
