Keen on BlackRock index funds focused on the likes of Apple, Microsoft, and Tesla?

This month, we’re excited to introduce six new funds on our Fund Smart platform — including four more low-cost, passive index funds.

It is part of BlackRock’s well-recognised iShares suite — among the world’s largest providers of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and passive funds, supported by BlackRock’s portfolio and risk management capabilities.

iShares US Index Fund

The fund replicates the performance of 500 large companies listed in the US, by tracking the S&P 500 index through investing in equities and derivatives such as futures contracts. Running for more than 20 years since its inception in 2001, the fund demonstrates an efficient way to gain exposure to the US equity market.

iShares Global Aggregate 1-5 Year Bond Index Fund

The fund tracks the Bloomberg Global Aggregate 1-5 Year Index, thereby offering an inexpensive and efficient exposure to investment-grade fixed income securities from around the world with a moderately lower duration between one and five years. Such securities may include treasuries, government-related, corporates, as well as securitised.

iShares Emerging Markets Government Bond Index Fund

By replicating the performance of the JPMorgan Emerging Market Bond Index (EMBI) Global Diversified, the fund offers exposure to USD-denominated, investment-grade bonds issued by governments and government-related agencies in emerging markets.

Ninety One Global Natural Resources Fund

Led by three portfolio managers (PMs) — each specialising in energy, metals, and agriculture — the fund invests in companies involved in the production or transportation of natural resources around the world. By doing so, the fund aims to provide a degree of inflation protection, while taking part in energy transition themes.

The fund invests in municipal debt securities in the US, used to fund infrastructure such as roads, airports, electrical transmission, water supply, schools, and hospitals.
