‍About the event ‍

The global financial markets have taken investors on a bumpy ride since the start of 2022. Just as various economies emerge into endemic Covid-19 states, they are hit with news of geopolitical conflicts, supply chain shocks, oil spikes, and Fed rate hikes. Prices for daily commodities have risen sharply, as the Russia-Ukraine war and persistent lockdowns in China continue to disrupt global supply chains.

Against this economic backdrop, we look back on how markets have performed so far in 2022 and what the outlook is for the rest of the year.

In this quarterly update, join our Chairman and Chief Investment Officer, Samuel Rhee, and Investment Lead, Yulin Liu, as they discuss:

  • The impact of geopolitical conflict and inflation on global financial markets
  • The high-wire act of targeting inflation and maintaining growth
  • The extent of the threat of stagflation
  • How the different Endowus portfolios have performed against benchmarks
  • Macro & market outlook for the rest of 2022

Endowus solves the biggest problems of wealth and investing, and retirement adequacy, leading to the firm becoming the first and only digital advisor for CPF investing in Singapore.
