Endowus partners with Macquarie Asset Management to introduce private infrastructure solutions to investors in Hong Kong and Singapore

- The partnership expands Endowus' private market offerings, introducing private infrastructure as the newest asset class alongside its existing range of hedge funds, private credit, private equity, and private real estate strategies
- This marks Macquarie Asset Management’s first collaboration with a digital wealth management platform in Asia, offering Endowus clients access to global infrastructure investments
- Macquarie Asset Management is a leading and long-established infrastructure manager, recognised as a pioneer in infrastructure investing, shaping the industry for over 30 years
HONG KONG/SINGAPORE, 19 AUGUST 2025 – Endowus, Asia’s leading independent wealth advisor and investment platform, has partnered with Macquarie Asset Management (“MAM”), one of the world’s largest infrastructure asset managers, to introduce private infrastructure investment solutions to professional and accredited investors in Singapore and Hong Kong.
The partnership marks MAM’s first collaboration with a digital wealth management platform in Asia, offering Endowus clients access to a diversified portfolio of privately held infrastructure assets, traditionally reserved for institutions and other large investors.
MAM, a pioneer and global leader in infrastructure investing, manages over US$588.1 billion in assets across real assets, real estate, credit, equities, and multi-asset strategies. Its infrastructure platform has delivered resilient, long-term performance over nearly three decades, driven by investments in essential services spanning energy, digital, transport, and utilities. MAM manages a portfolio worth over $200 billion, comprising 150 infrastructure assets that support the daily needs of more than 300 million people worldwide.
Private infrastructure has emerged as one of the fastest-growing segments in private markets, with assets under management reaching $US 1.3 trillion in 2024—more than four times the size just a decade ago. This growth is fuelled by structural megatrends such as decarbonisation, digitisation, deglobalisation, and shifting demographics, all of which are reshaping global economic development and accelerating demand for long-term infrastructure investment.
Christopher Frost, Senior Managing Director, Macquarie Asset Management – Real Assets and Executive Investment Committee member of Macquarie Infrastructure Strategy, said: “We’re excited to partner with Endowus to bring our leading infrastructure investing expertise to professional and accredited investors in Hong Kong and Singapore. At Macquarie, infrastructure is in our DNA. Through this partnership, eligible investors in both markets gain access to our global platform, backed by a team of around 400 dedicated investment professionals across 30 markets, specialising in private infrastructure and green investments. Over the past 30 years, we’ve invested in more than 300 infrastructure businesses, building a strong track record of delivering results for our investors.”
As an asset class, private infrastructure has demonstrated a high degree of resilience, lower volatility and acted as an inflation hedge. Its performance has low correlation to traditional markets, offering diversification benefits for investors. These largely stem from the essential nature of infrastructure assets, which provide critical services regardless of market cycles.
MAM’s distinguished track record in infrastructure includes recent successes such as the successful exit of AirTrunk, the largest hyperscale data centre operator in Asia-Pacific. After investing approximately $US 2 billion in 2020, MAM exited in 2024 through a record-breaking $US 15.7 billion deal — the largest of its kind globally. MAM was also named Digital Infrastructure Investor of the Year in Asia Pacific by Infrastructure Investor in 2024.
The partnership further strengthens Endowus’ growing private markets offering, complementing its existing suite of hedge funds, private credit, private equity, and private real estate strategies, enabling qualified investors with comprehensive solutions to better diversify their portfolios. The high net worth segment has been Endowus’ fastest-growing segment in the past year, growing 31% in the last six months across Hong Kong and Singapore.
Samuel Rhee, Chairman and Group Chief Investment Officer of Endowus, said, "Private infrastructure offers benefits such as diversification, a hedge against inflation. As an asset class, it is highly complementary to Endowus' current suite of alternative offerings. By partnering with Macquarie Asset Management, a global leader in this space with a long track record of value creation, we’re helping our clients gain access to high-quality private infrastructure to build truly resilient, long-term portfolios.”
