This is a legally binding agreement between you (“Participant”) and the Organiser establishing the terms and conditions under which you are entitled to participate in the lucky dip & draw (the “Dip & Draw”).
By participating in the Dip & Draw, you agree to be bound by and to comply with these terms and conditions including all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications hereto as may from time to time be made by the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prizes to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions or as determined under its sole and absolute discretion.
If you have collected a prize but do not comply with the terms and conditions for the Draw, you will also be required to return the prize to the Organiser.
1. Organiser
The organiser of the Draw is Endowus Singapore Pte. Ltd (“Endowus”).
2. Name of the Dip & Draw
The name of the Draw is Endowus ISCA Conference Lucky Dip & Draw 2023
3. Date, Place and Time of the Dip & Draw
The Dip & Draw will take place at the ISCA Conference. The ISCA Conference will be held at , 10 Bayfront Avenue Level 3 Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Jasmine-Hibiscus Ballroom Singapore 018971, on 29 November 2023 from 8:30am to 6 pm.
The lucky dip (the “Dip”) will take place throughout the duration of the ISCA Conference.
The lucky draw (the “Draw”) will take place at the event stage for all attendees to witness, approximately between 5 to 6 pm.
4. Eligibility for the Dip & Draw
Subject to the exclusion below, to be eligible for the Dip & Draw, you must have successfully registered for a new individual Endowus account during the ISCA Conference using the ISCA promo code, and be physically present at the Conference (an “Eligible Participant”).
The Organiser and its affiliates, and their employees shall not be eligible for the Dip & Draw and shall not be considered Eligible Participants.
The Organiser shall have absolute discretion to decide on the eligibility for participation in the Dip & Draw.
5.The Rules of the Dip
Each Eligible Participant is given one chance to participate in the Dip.
After verifying with the Organiser on your eligibility at the organiser’s booth, you will be given the chance to pick one ping pong ball within a box. All ping pong balls will have 1, 2 or 3 written on it, and each number has a different prize tagged to it. The prizes are as follows:
If you win the Ya Kun Voucher, you will immediately be issued the Ya Kun breakfast set voucher.
If you win the $20 or $50 Endowus Fee voucher, your Endowus-registered email address will be recorded by the Organiser and the voucher will be issued to you within 3 business days.
6.The Rules of the Draw
Each Eligible Participant is given one chance to win the prize for the Draw (the “Lucky Draw Prize”). The Lucky Draw Prize is as follows:
After you have been verified to be an Eligible Participant by an Endowus staff, you will be asked to fill up the “Endowus ISCA Conference Lucky Dip & Draw 2023 participation form”, where your full legal name, Endowus email address will be recorded.
Before the start of the Draw, the list of Eligible Participants will be passed over to representatives from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (“ISCA”) to be added to an online random name picker. One Eligible Participant will then be randomly selected through the online random picker to receive the Lucky Draw Prize (the “Winner”).
The result of the Draw will be announced live immediately after the draw by an ISCA representative. If you are a Winner, your name will be called out and you will be required to go on stage to receive the Lucky Draw Prize immediately. You must also furnish to the Organiser your details (such as your name, email address and log into your Endowus account) in order for the Organizer to verify your identity. If we do not receive your response and information immediately, you will be deemed to have forfeited the Lucky Draw Prize, and the Organiser will select another Eligible Participant at random for the Lucky Draw Prize. Another draw will be made on the spot and announced and the same terms and conditions herein shall apply to the substitute Winner.
7. The Prizes
Any prize left unclaimed after the Dip & Draw will be forfeited and may be disposed in any manner at the discretion of the Organiser.
All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. The prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions, and you agree to comply with all terms and conditions applicable to the prizes.
8.Final Determination by the Organiser
The decision of the Organiser regarding any aspect of the Dip & Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. The Organiser reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Dip & Draw at its sole and absolute discretion.
9.Personal Data
By participating in the Dip & Draw, you agree that any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used and/or disclosed by the Organizer and its authorised third parties for the following purposes: (i) processing and administering matters relating to the Dip & Draw, including communicating with you for purposes related to the Dip & Draw and the Organiser’s legal, operational and business needs; (ii) publication of the result of the Dip & Draw on the Organiser and/or its affiliate’s website; (iii) to comply with any applicable law in relation to the conduct of the Dip & Draw; and/or (iv) such other purposes as the Organiser may reasonably deem appropriate, or in relation to which you have otherwise provided or have been deemed to have provided the Organiser with consent, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
10.General Terms and Conditions
The Organiser, its representatives and/or agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up a prize or participation in the Dip & Draw except where it is caused by the gross negligence of the Organiser, its representatives and/or agents. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify the Organiser against any losses, damages, costs, expenses, claims or liabilities of any kind arising in connection with your participation in the Dip & Draw. The terms and conditions of the Dip & Draw are not intended to confer rights to any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any provision of these terms and conditions, and the operation of the said Act is hereby excluded. The terms and conditions of the Dip & Draw are governed by Singapore law and you agree to submit any claim, dispute or controversy to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
