Endowus launches “WealthHERWay”, a regional initiative supporting women to invest with confidence

The programme combines research, education, community partnerships and curated events across Hong Kong and Singapore, aimed at addressing the growing wealth and investment gap as women take on greater financial responsibility across the region.

Hong Kong and Singapore, 5 March 2026 – Endowus, Asia’s leading independent wealth advisor and investment platform, is proud to announce the launch of WealthHERWay, a regional programme that combines investment-related research, education, community-led partnerships and curated events across Hong Kong and Singapore, to support women in taking full ownership of their financial futures.

In conjunction with International Women’s Day (8 March), WealthHERWay embraces this year’s theme of “Give to Gain”. Research by McKinsey highlights that women are set to control an increasing share of global wealth in the coming decade, yet many remain underserved by traditional wealth models and face structural gaps in capital accumulation and investment participation. WealthHERWay aims to provide greater clarity, access and community support so women can translate growing financial responsibility into sustained long-term investing outcomes.

So Sin Ting, Chief Client Officer at Endowus, said “In Hong Kong, women make up close to 45% of Endowus clients, reflecting strong participation in long-term investing. There is robust adoption of our discretionary portfolio management services, with more than 75% of clients, across both men and women, relying on advised portfolios. Women also demonstrate strong commitment once invested, and are 30% less likely to redeem investments. This underscores that once invested, women achieve similar long-term results.”

She added, “However, differences in capital deployment remain. On a median basis, women hold about 14% less in assets under advice than men and contribute roughly 21% less on a monthly basis. While engagement and portfolio adoption are strong, the scale of capital deployed is still smaller.

WealthHERWay aims to support women in building clarity and conviction so they are more confident in investing more over time.

To kick off the programme, Endowus is hosting a panel discussion with a lineup of distinguished female leaders from the finance and health industries. Titled ‘WealthHERWay – Define Your Future with Clarity, the event will offer insights on navigating the intersections of finance, family, and health to build a life of confidence, expand choices and foster community.

Supporting women through life transitions

While participation in investing is strong, our data shows that differences in capital deployment often widen during key life transitions. This could range from career breaks, entrepreneurship, caregiving responsibilities and longer life expectancy, which can significantly interrupt income patterns and reshape financial priorities. These moments have a direct impact on how much capital is accumulated, invested and compounded over time.

WealthHERWay will help to address these points directly. Rather than treating investing as a one-time decision, the programme focuses on equipping women with structured advice, practical investment education and access to relevant communities, so women can continue building their wealth as life circumstances evolve.

In addition, Endowus Hong Kong will expand content on its Endowus Insights page to provide more women-focused investment perspectives, offering practical tips, insights and shared experiences.

Extending the programme’s reach with strategic partners

Beginning this month, Endowus will host a series of targeted educational seminars and community engagements across Hong Kong and Singapore, bringing together leaders from the investment industry alongside partners across finance, technology, healthcare and consumer sectors, including Capital Group and Love, Bonito. These engagements are designed to create practical conversations around portfolio construction, liquidity planning and long-term wealth strategies, grounded in real-life transitions.

Endowus and Capital Group will also collaborate on thought leadership and educational content drawing on Capital Group’s research, exploring how women in these markets are redefining investing. This includes perspectives on wealth transfer, investment trends among female investors and their attitudes towards financial advice. The findings may inform future programme initiatives and community dialogues.

Steffanie Yuen, Managing Director and Head of Hong Kong at Endowus, said: “Women are increasingly taking charge of their financial destinies, yet barriers to transparent advice remain. As wealth shifts across generations and roles evolve, advice must adapt. WealthHERWay aims to tackle this by providing the clarity and tools to invest wisely and live fully, giving women the freedom to choose, the confidence to pursue opportunities, and the power to live life on their own terms.”

Sheryl Choong, Head of Client Advisory at Endowus, added:

“For women, taking control of their finances is not just about securing the future, but also creating the life they aspire to today – whether that means starting a business or supporting their families. Financial journeys are not linear, and advice must adapt to life transitions. We believe that being able to invest confidently, with the right advice and tools, is both financially and personally empowering.”

Throughout 2026, WealthHERWay will expand through strategic collaborations spanning financial education, professional networks, and lifestyle communities, continuing to embody the principle that giving women access, clarity, and support ultimately enables them to gain confidence, independence, and opportunity.
