Inflation-hedged fund

The fund aims to offer investors a comprehensive real asset solution to hedge global inflation risks, with a target return of OECD CPI +3%. The fund invests in inflation-linked bonds, emerging market currencies, REITs, as well as exposure to commodities and gold via derivatives, which typically respond well to inflation. The fund is managed by a highly experienced team of 4 PMs, and benefits from PIMCO’s top-down global macroeconomic views.

Led by GSAM’s veteran Head of Japan Equity, the fund adopts a high-conviction approach towards investing in Japanese equities by leveraging on a team-based, bottom-up research process. The team favours larger, quality companies that are exposed to long-term, secular growth trends and are therefore less susceptible to economic cycles in Japan. These companies also typically have strong existing business bases that are able to support new business growth.

Emerging markets fund

Goldman Sachs Emerging Markets Equity Portfolio

ISIN: LU2464814404 (SGD), LU0234572450 (USD)

The fund provides investors with exposure to a diversified basket of companies from the emerging markets. It has a significant exposure to small and mid cap as well as off-benchmark names, as the team seeks to exploit inefficiencies across emerging markets. This differentiated approach has allowed the fund to outperform its peers and the MSCI Emerging Markets Index in recent years. The fund is managed by two experienced PMs and supported by a sizeable team of locally based investors.
