About the session

Making access to private and illiquid assets easier for individual investors is an important part of our mission to democratise wealth management for everyone. Most recently, a part of the industry we have been looking to revolutionise through better access, advice, and lower cost is absolute return multi-strategy hedge funds. These strategies have traditionally been difficult to access and often exclusively available to institutional investors.

"Absolute return" strategies focus on generating a positive return over any period through cycles, which is different from the more common relative return strategies that focus on returns relative to a specific benchmark.

Well-known asset managers that implement these strategies include: Millennium, Point72, Balyasny, Brevan Howard, Eisler, Hudson Bay, LMR, and Schonfeld.

We would like to invite you to an exclusive webinar on Friday, 19 May, 12pm, hosted by Samuel Rhee, Chairman & Chief Investment Officer, Hugh Chung, Chief Investment Advisory Officer, and Sean Wong, Head of Investments of Endowus, to discuss these strategies.

In this webinar, we will cover topics including:

  • What multi-manager multi-strategy hedge funds are
  • Why having a low correlation diversified absolute return allocation in a portfolio is ideal
  • How to generate consistent returns with limited drawdown through multiple market cycles
