About the session

Economic data surprised the market month after month, helping the US market stay strong. This is given that many factors are at play, from softening macroeconomics and the Fed’s policy response to arguably the most followed factors of all, the election. In the face of these, the US market kept breaking records, with the Morningstar US Market Index up more than 20% so far in 2024.

The spotlight of the quarter was also China equities, which caught up with intense volatility after the government launched the so-called “Beijing put," measures aimed at boosting investment sentiment and reversing the prevailing weakness.

In the week of the US presidential election, the Endowus Investment Office will review a quarter of US equity market streaks, China’s record inflows, and how our Portfolios performed.

  1. US and China: Two fundamentally different rallies year-to-date
  2. How key Endowus Portfolios performed in Q3 2024
  3. Manage volatility amid the election and geopolitical events
